Responsibilities  
 Analysing the potential path forwards for projects affecting the security echo-system  
 Translating new security initiatives into project end-to-end architecture and roadmap considering the target architecture and non-functional requirements.  
 Designing and documenting solutions, considering functional and non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, scalability, and security  
 Identifying information risks about confidentiality, integrity, availability, and quality along with proposing and elaborate mitigating measures.  
 Supporting other Architects (application, infrastructure, DevSecOps, cloud etc.) for the security aspects within their disciplines  
 Documenting architectural decisions and writing high level designs  
 Participating to the security roadmap definition  
 Keep track of the evolution of the security solutions market / Research emerging technologies in support of security integration solutions 

Profile
 Top down and bottom-up approach to security  
 You have an IT or security master’s degree or equivalent by experience.  
 Security certifications is a plus.  
 Working knowledge of network infrastructure including switches, routers, IP configuration, CCNA or equivalent certification preferred. Equivalent work experience
may be considered in lieu of certification 
 Min 5 years’ experience in the security domain is a plus  
 Min 5 years’ experience in IT architecture/design is a plus.  
 You are good at identifying security flaws/risks in IT solutions and know how to deal with these.  
 You have strong communication skills and can convince others by your involvement, assertiveness, and accessibility.  
 You design solutions, considering the customer’s needs and the risks for the organization.

Nature of the tasks 

· Design and development of reporting applications;

Senior Java Architect job description: 

1. Introduction and Scope:

  • The scope is oriented to solution design, reference implementations, providing guidance to development teams with a focus on the patent grant area.

The Contractor shall ensure that its Architects performing under this RfO at a minimum:

  • are able to participate in solution design and design components;
  • shall have the knowledge and experience to be able to ensure reliability, integrity and maintainability in a micro-services landscape;
  • are capable to supervise the work of the developers by checking their pull requests and solving issues where needed;
  • are capable to ensure Issues, Risks and unclarities are addressed with other stakeholders;
  • are still hands-on and will still implement part of the solutions, to ensure they have/get a deep understanding of the products that are being developed;
  • ensure architectural consistency and adherence to the architectural principles set out by the EPO. These principles are in different areas like, service definitions and coordination, CI/CD, configuration, security and monitoring (not the complete list);

Responsibilities:

 

·        Structure the electrical component portfolio and identify gaps based on VIN product strategy;

·        Analyze semiconductor technology trends and evaluate industry related market research reports and identify VIN relevant technology innovations in semiconductor and electronic component fields;

·        Work out New Component Introduction project proposals including business potentials, benefits, timeline and resource needs, frequently present these plans to relevant category teams;

·        Establish knowledge base based semiconductor technology radar, map the trends and innovation and frequently report it out to senior management;

·        Technical advisor in component selection in VIN product development projects;
